JUPAS Sub-system for School Principal’s Nominations (Deadline: 15 Nov, Mon) • 3 students will be nominated each year • Students who have contributed to social services or made outstanding achievements in non-academic areas, or who have demonstrated leadership abilities will be considered • Nominees will be considered by the institutions concerned for your Band A choices: • Make conditional offers (HKALE) • Give bonus points to you to improve your chance of admission • Give no special consideration to your nomination

Sub-Degree Programmes for S7 Graduates • Associate Degree (AD)/ Higher Diploma (HD) • Two-year course: • normally takes F7 graduates • requires one A Level or two AS Level subjects in general • Further Studies: • may study Year 3 of a 4-year university degree in the N. American model; OR • Year 2 of a 3-year university degree in the British model

  15. AD vs HD • Associate Degree (AD) • Put more emphasis on general education (at least 60%) • Higher Diploma (HD) • Focus more on vocation training (at least 60%)

  16. AD/ HD Further Information • Fee: Around $40,500 - $72,000 (1st year) • Entry requirement (in general): • Pass in 1 AL OR 2 AS; • Pass in 5 CE subjects, including Chinese & English Language
