Revolutionary War Battle Analysis: Preparing for Conflict

In this lesson, students will analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the forces entering the Revolutionary War using a T-chart. Building on the Declaration of Independence analysis from the previous session, students will explore who was more prepared for the war. They will engage with the Essential Question: How did Americans, as the underdogs, manage to defeat the British? The activity will focus on significant battles marked with a star, utilizing the resources provided in the History Alive textbook and additional references for a comprehensive understanding of the Revolutionary battles.
