  2. Matthew 2:1 “Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, ‘Where is He who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw His star when it rose and have come to worship Him.”

  3. Out of Bethlehem Micah 5:2 “But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose origin is from of old, from ancient days.”

  6. Matthew 2:7 “Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them what time the star had appeared.”

  7. Age of the Child Herod learned that the child was probably 18 to 24 months old. Matthew 2:16 “… and he sent and killed all the male children in Bethlehem and in all that region who were two years old or under; according to the time that he had ascertained from the wise men.”
