  1. In the event of some accidents that burn the scalp, hair follicles can be killed, resulting in hair loss. The question is, do follicles grow back in such cases so hair growth can continue? The answer is yes, hair can grow back depending on how severe the damage was. The body, when recovering from such burns, remodels itself in such a way that it creates new skin, as well as all the components that are associated with that skin among which includes hair.
