  4. SRF WP3: Seamless Cavity Production New spinning machine operating in INFN-Legnaro Deliverables (#month): Evaluation of spinning parameters (29) 1-cell spinning parameters defined (36)

  5. SRF WP4: Thin FilmCavity Production DESY to provide single cell cavities for tests in near future. Linear arc coating at IPJ Swierk

  6. SRF WP5: Surface Preparation Single-cell EP set up operational in Saclay: Multi-cell set-up in DESY Deliverables (#month): continued Automated EP: Conclude on best electrolyte (44) VT cleaning of 9-cell cavities: evaluation of experimental results (48) Dry ice cleaning of horizontal 9-cell cavities: evaluation of experimental results (48)

  7. SRF WP6: Material Analysis • Aim : • Improve the sensitivity of Nb sheet quality control • Equipment operational: • SQUID scanner operational at DESY • Flux Gate Magnetometry operational at INFN-Legnaro • DC field emission monitor operational at Uni-Wuppertal. • Deliverables • Final report on SQUID scanning (48) • Conclude on comparison of SQUID scanner vs. flux gate detector (48) • DC field emission: evaluation of scanning results (48) • DC field emission: evaluate strong emitter investigations (48)

  8. WP7: TTF-V and TW60 windows

  9. WP8: Tuners CEA Saclay Tuner Ready for Tests - CARE report 06-012-SRF Deliverable # 11 for 2005. Will be tested early 2006.

  10. SRF WP9: Low Level RF New firmware for FPGA board called SIMCON 3.0 tested in TTF2/ACC1 to control the Vector Sum of 8 cavities in the module DSP daughter board

  11. SRF WP10: CryostatIntegration Tests • High RF power tests of fully equipped (coupler, tuner) high gradient RF cavities, in order to qualify new prototypes • Deliverable (# month): • Cryostat integration tests: final evaluation (46) • Achievements so far : • Aug’05 : first operation of CryHoLab at 1 MW RF power for coupler RF conditioning • Oct’05 : cavity + coupler + CEA tuner installed in CryHoLab • CryHoLab re-installation foreseen in 2006, leaving only one year for SRF programme !

  12. SRF WP11: Beam Diagnostics The Diffraction Radiator In place in TTF/Bypass Awaiting beam time allocation for tests on TTF (FLASH) Monte-Carlo simulations
