  5. SB 2 Amended Board Rule:Dual Enrollment & High School Graduation Opportunity(SB2) Option A and Option B

Passed June 13, 2019 GA State Board Rule Rule Synopsis State Board of Education Rule 160-4-2-.34 Dual Enrollment – Move On When Ready The amendment includes the following: • The title of the rule will be shortened from Dual Enrollment – Move On When Ready to Dual Enrollment. • Updated the O.C.G.A. reference in the definition of Commission. • Changed the definition of Program to Programs, and clarified the definition. • Dual enrollment program requirements were separated into two separate sections within the rule to delineate differences between two current options provided in state law, which are codified in the rule as Option A and Option B respectively.

  7. High School Graduation Opportunity Revision SB 2 Formerly SB2 (2015) and not real clear with what are the required courses.
