  1. Begin with the End in Mind Danielle Cohn,Neena Milton,Raquel Espinoza,Vanessa Martinez & Ariana Arevalo-Losoya

  2. Always have a Mission Statement A mission statement is:  A summary describing the aims, values, and overall  planofanorganizationor individual. It is vital that you create a mission statement true to everything you want in life.   Take a moment to think about what you want in life.

  3. The three watch-outs Negative Labels:  If you believe everything that other people say about you,   then you'll start to become that label and will ultimately fail. "It's all over" Syndrome:  This is really common in teenagers.  Once you've made a mistake or two you begin to think "it's all over" and at this point you begin to self destruct,  no longer caring about what happens. Wrong Wall:  While climbing the ladder of success, how can we know if we're leaning against the right wall?  Stop and ask yourself, "Is the life that I'm living leading me in the right direction?"  Be honest with yourself

  4. Goals • Go for goals in order to achieve your mission statement. • Count the Cost  • Put it in Pen • Just Do It! • Use Momentous Moments  • Rope Up

  5. Turning weaknesses into strength Take what you're weak at, and use it to succeed. Make an example of what you're weak at, practice what you're weak at to make it better, and then as you get better or start to succeed it will no longer be your weakness. Example: "Practice makes perfect." Practice a drill for basketball over and over and soon enough, the drill will be perfect and it would not be one of your weak spots.

  6. Make your life extraordinary Make a difference in the world.    Live you're life to the very fullest and be extraordinary. Stand out! Do whatever you can to make it matter that you have lived.

  7. Activity Our activity for the class is to write a mission statement. Think about what you want to do in life, write it down and go back and memorize it! Share with your group and discuss why you chose that statement
