Customer Case Study-SAP PM Implementation Micro Labs is a fully integrated pharmaceutical company which operates across the entire pharmaceutical value chain from Research and Development, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Finished Formulations to Marketing and Distribution in India and overseas. In India, Micro Labs Limited is ranked 10th in prescriptions and 20th in sales. Micro Labs is poised to achieve global status in the pharmaceutical industry with a sales target of $1 Billion by 2015. The client wanted to strengthen its backbone of manufacturing by focusing on reliability through system-driven control. Business Requirements: Leverage the SAP Platform to enhance reliability of its plant maintenance activities in a system-driven environment while enhancing the Asset Management capabilities of the firm. Client Name: Micro Labs Ltd. Industry: Pharmaceuticals Project Overview: The project configured Breakdown, Preventive Maintenance, Calibration, Annual Maintenance and Improvement Maintenance as the PM business process for existing 15 plants of the client. It also included Work Flow customizations and SMS integration. Successful full implementation in one plant and laying out of roll-Out procedure for remaining plants. Approach: Duration: 3 months Team size: 5 consultants (3 On-site and 2 Offshore) Methodology: ASAP Solution: Gathered data across 15 plants and performed detailed Gap Analysis to map the business processes. Performed Unit testing, integration testing and conducted training. Delivered solutions for Breakdown Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Improvement Maintenance, Annual Maintenance Contract and Calibration processes for End-to-end implementation of SAP Plant Maintenance.
