  2. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Why haven’t my Test Administrators (TAs) and Test Site Coordinators (SCs) received their temporary passwords?  A: This known issue has been resolved and the users that you have added should now receive their temporary passwords.

  3. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Does the secure browser for Chromebooks need to be uninstalled? A: No. However, if your local educational agency (LEA) uses Chromebooks for testing and have upgraded to Google Chrome v40, ensure that your Chromebooks are running version 40.0.2214.115 to ensure that your devices will work properly with the Secure Browser for Chromebooks.

  4. Frequently Asked Questions Q: How can I set text-to-speech for both English language arts/literacy (ELA) items and mathematics stimuli and items? A: The TOMS User Interface will allow LEA CAASPP coordinators and Test Site Coordinators to select text-to-speech for both ELA items and mathematics stimuli and items for a student. The current upload file allows the configuration of both.

  5. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Where can I find translated test directions? A: The translated test directions will be posted to the Test Administrator Resources for summative assessments Web page at http://caaspp.org/ta-resources/summative.html.

  6. Frequently Asked Questions Q: How much are Pre-ID labels? Where can I indicate that I want parent addresses?  A: Basic student pre-ID labels are $0.38 per student. Late student pre-ID labels are $0.44 per student. LEA CAASPP coordinators can indicate parent/guardian addresses in the Test Operations Management System (TOMS).
