  3. Waste Exemptions • The Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 • Into force 6 April 2010 • Replaces the 2009 regulations • Provides for grant, variation, transfer, etc of permits • Revises the existing exemptions regime

  4. Waste Exemptions • Grouped by activity; • U – Use of Waste (U1-U16) • T – Treatment of Waste (T1-T33) • D – Disposal of Waste (D1-D8) • S – Storage of Waste (S1-S3) • Transitional arrangements (2011-2012) • Note oil storage limit (paragraph S1) is 3m3 not 100 (amended by SI 676/2010)
