Harry Coumnas’ Strange Love Story

Harry Coumnas was a famous Austrian Physician whose life took a strange turn after he fell in love with one of his patients. The girl Harry fell in love with was a tuberculosis patient named Lara Ray. There was soon trouble in their little paradise as tuberculosis was still a deadly disease. He not only went all in to make every attempt to save her life but also showered her with innumerable gifts and all his love. It is rather unfortunate that none of these attempts could save her and her demise pushed Harry into a deep state of heartbreak. Even after her death, he went on to buy an expensive mausoleum for her and as soon as her body was locked inside it, a new journey for Harry began. Unable to cope up with the loss of his loved one, Harry Coumnas visited her body every single night for as long as two years and when that was not enough, he gathered the courage of stealing Lara's body from the tomb to keep her closer.

  1. Harry Coumnas’ Strange Love Story Harry Coumnas was a famous Austrian physician whose life took a strange turn after he fell in love with one of his patients. The girl Harry fell in love with was a tuberculosis patient named Lara Ray. On several occasions, he spoke about the love of his life and how she was the lady he had been dreaming about all his life. There was soon trouble in their little paradise as tuberculosis was still a deadly disease. Harry Coumnas devoted himself completely to taking care of his beloved wife. He not only went all in to make every attempt to save her life but also showered her with innumerable gifts and all his love. It is rather unfortunate that none of these attempts could save her and her demise pushed Harry into a deep state of heartbreak. Even after her death, he went on to buy an expensive mausoleum for her and as soon as her body was locked inside it, a new journey for Harry began. The extensive upkeep of the body included using plaster of Paris and glass to keep her skeletal frame somewhat stable. As he observed her hair falling out of the decomposing scalp, he didn’t hesitate at all while replacing those with strands of real hair. Harry’s obsession with a dead body was clearly horrifying for many and he continued to live with it for 7 years until Lara’s sister made the grisly discovery. He was even put behind the bars for committing a crime so grave.
