  3. Health According to the World Health Organization, health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

  4. Hygiene The definition of hygiene is healthy habits that include bathing, keeping the mouth clean, keeping the skin protected from the sun and washing hands frequently before handling edibles to insure the safe delivery of food.

  5. Hand Washing According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) 22 million school days are lost each year due to the common cold. Some viruses and bacteria can live from 20 minutes up to 2 hours or more on surfaces like cafeteria tables, doorknobs, and desks

  6. How to Wash Your Hands • Use warm running water • Use soap • Scrub hands together and under nails for at least 15-20 seconds • Dry hands on a clean cloth or paper towel or use an automatic hand dryer if possible

  7. Healthy Teeth and Gums The health and cleanliness of your mouth is important, if you don’t brush and floss… • Cavities (holes in your teeth) may form • Your breath will probably smell bad • You may be at higher risk for serious disease later in life, such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes

  8. Foods to Avoid Bacteria in your mouth grow on sugar Try to eat as little “junk food” as possible =candy, chocolate, and other sweets Avoid drinking soda and sweet tea If you do eat these things, you may want to brush immediately afterwards

  9. Do not spent too much time on TV Computer/Laptop Or Mobile X

  10. How to stop a bleed “See blood? Put pressure on it.” Most wounds stop bleeding with direct pressure. A wadded-up cloth pressed down with the base of the hand is preferable, but the bare hand works also. Icing a swollen injury Applying cold running water or a wet towel to a burn. Pinching the nostrils for 10 minutes for a nosebleed. Sit down and gently squeeze the soft portion of the nose between your thumb and finger (so that the nostrils are closed) for a full 10 minutes. Lean forward to avoid swallowing the blood and breathe through your mouth.

  11. SWATCH GHAR Fix your bed after wake up Keep your study table clean Pack your bag properly after finishing homework Keep your toys back properly after play Do not litter on the floor Do not throw your shoes and clothes here and there

  12. Do not throw trash on road

  13. EMOTIONAL HYGIENE Self-Control 1. Blow bubbles. It’s no secret that taking deep breaths can help restore a sense of calm when big emotions hit, and a great way to teach this concept is to have children blow bubbles when they’re feeling anxious. Start by giving each child their own bottle of mini bubbles to practice, or just do not pop it. This will give them an effective coping strategy; talk about how there are times that you really want to do something but you have to tell yourself, “NO I am going to make better choice.’ They can use when big emotions threaten to take over during the school day (and beyond)!  Red Light, Green Light. You probably remember playing this as a kid, and it’s a fun game to help kids work on self-control. Each time you yell ‘green light’, your kids can get up, dance, and act silly, but as soon as you yell ‘red light’, they must stand perfectly still. It’s heaps of fun! Meditation. Meditation is a great way to help kids calm down and refocus when their emotions start to get away from them, and breath in breath out technique is to do exactly that! Laugh & Don’t Laugh. A friend of mine does this ALL THE TIME with her daughter, and it’s a real hoot. They take turns trying to make the other person laugh. They aren’t allowed to touch each other and must maintain eye contact, and it is HILARIOUS to watch both of them in action.
