  1. Hacking and Anti-hacking on Campus Networks Project Leader : Dr. Jung-Shian Li Team Member : Ci-Bin Jiang、Yu-Kai Wang、 Wen-Chih Liu 、 Chien-Hung Wu 、 Huoc-Yong Koo Laboratory of HSNET Institute of Computer and Communication Engineering National Cheng Kung University This project is sponsored by TWISC

  2. Introduction http://hsnet.ee.ncku.edu.tw/ • We simulate the topology of campus networks on testbed and use software to hack or anti-hack, such as DDoS, Sniffer. • We propose some advices about vulnerability of campus networks and present a comparable results based on the attack type.

  3. System Design Concepts http://hsnet.ee.ncku.edu.tw/ • In our system, we expect to exploit testbed to build campus networks topology respectively. • We attempt to use several software and NScript as possible to simulate attacks. • We expect to build the behavior of attacks automatically.

  4. System Architecture http://hsnet.ee.ncku.edu.tw/ Topology of Campus Networks 2 Topology of Campus Networks 1

  5. System Architecture(cont.) http://hsnet.ee.ncku.edu.tw/ Wireshark experiment topology DNS Cache Poisoning experiment topology

  6. Experiment Results http://hsnet.ee.ncku.edu.tw/ There are 8 attack types and the state of NS script

  7. Conclusions http://hsnet.ee.ncku.edu.tw/ Our experiment not only can simulate the topology of campus networks but execute some of Nscript successfully. Our reports make a full influence on people, who are faculty members on campus. It brings common sense about security that could reduce some risks.
