  4. Formula 2 Sale Price = Percent Paid ×Regular Selling Price Note: If you use Formula 2, then you first need to calculate the percent paid: Percent Paid = 100% – Percent off

  6. Example 1 Answer: Step 1 Find the markdown. Regular Selling Price ×Markdown Rate $125.00 ×25% = $31.25 markdown

  7. Example 1 Answer: Step 2 Find the sale price. Regular Selling Price – Markdown $125.00 – $31.25 = $93.75
