This guide outlines a step-by-step approach to taping collateral ligaments, enhancing joint stability. Step 1 involves applying pre-wrap from mid-thigh to mid-calf. Step 2 requires placing anchors at mid-thigh and mid-calf to secure the pre-wrap. In Step 3, a vertical stabilizing strip is applied from the distal anchor to the proximal anchor, running through the joint's midline. Step 4 involves placing angle stabilizing strips, crossing the joint line, to further secure the ligament. Follow these steps for effective ligament support and stability.

Step 1: Pre-Wrap Apply pre-wrap from mid-thigh to mid-calf.
Step 2- Anchors Apply two anchors at the mid-thigh and mid-calf securing the pre-wrap.
Step 3: Vertical Stabilizing Strip Apply stabilizing strip from distal anchor pulling towards proximal anchor running through the midline of the joint. Apply anchor after strip.
Step 4: Angle Stabilizing Strips Apply one stabilizing strip starting from posterior portion of calf pulling towards anterior portion of the thigh. Strip should cross the joint-line at an angle. Apply another stabilizing strip on anterior lower leg and pull towards posterior portion of thigh. Stabilizing strip should cross joint-line at angle. Apply anchors after each strip is applied.
