Pertinent text from Part 15.247FH and digitally modulated intentional radiators FH systems shall have, From 15.247 (a)(1)(i) The maximum allowed 20 dB bandwidth of the hopping channel is 500 kHz From 15.247 (b)(2) The max output power shall be 1 watt for systems with at least 50 hopping channels. Otherwise .25 watts Digital modulation techniques shall have, From 15.247 (a)(2) The minimum 6 dB bandwidth shall be at least 500 kHz From 15.247 (b)(3) The max output power shall be 1 watt David Halasz, OakTree Wireless

Pertinent text from Part 15.247Further notes on Frequency Hoppers From 15.247 (a)(1) FH systems shall have, Carrier frequencies separated by the greater of 25 kHz or the 20 dB bandwidth of the hopping channel The hop sequence is pseudo random Each frequency must be used equally on average (i)If the 20 dB bw of the hopping channel is less than 250 kHz then The system shall use at least 50 hopping frequencies and the average time on a frequency shall not be greater than .4 seconds within a 20 second period else The system shall use at least 25 hopping frequencies and the average time on frequency shall not be greater than .4 seconds within a 10 second period David Halasz, OakTree Wireless
