  2. P2 Environmental Consultants Ltd • Does ISO14001 certification prove that an organization is being proactively responsible environmentally? • Organizations could “cheat” i.e. become certified without truly adopting the ethos of continual Improvement • Not capturing SMEs What is the issue?

  3. P2 Environmental Consultants Ltd organizations should show • commitment to environmental compliance • awareness and understanding of their legal obligations pertaining to the environment. This revision is intended to last for 10 years So what is happening?

  4. P2 Environmental Consultants Ltd Demonstrate that • organization really is instigating greener practices: not just reaping the benefits of appearing to do so. • consideration of the environmental implications actions integral to gaining the ISO 14001 certification. So changes are coming!
