  2. Gaming and sports have always been on top of the charts for everyone in India. Irrespective of the age group people prefer to entertain self by indulging in different activities whether it is gaming or any other way of sports which offers them satisfaction. However, since the advent of internet, a new culture of online gaming has been prevalent now which is getting the momentum? Within years online gaming has already reached a level and with each passing day, it is getting a level higher. The way a variety of sports such as cricket, kabaddi, football, hockey and badminton is played in India and people playing these sports do participate in various tournaments related to these sports. It is only a tournament or league which offers the right level of excitement and thrill and also elevates the confidence of players and teams. In a similar manner Poker has gained immense popularity in our country and in last few years multiple websites have come up with poker games which can be played online for cash as well as for free. However what was missing was the real fun for many professional poker players in India to test their skills and knowledge by participating in India Poker League or India Poker Championship.

Many interested poker players used to take a backseat in absence of any domestic poker league and hence the talent was getting wasted but with this Indian Poker League, everyone has a fair chance to participate and win. With more and more poker players participating in the game they get a chance to hone their skills as well as popularise the game at the same time.
