Source Water Program Goals • National Goal: By 2014, 50% of community water systems, and 62% of population served by those systems, will be substantially implementing source water protection plans • States promote and facilitate plan development and implementation • Ultimately, each local water system/community decides whether it will develop and implement a Source Water Protection Plan.
