  3. Step 2 • Ask students to define the word, use a definition they can understand and explain, not necessarily the one from the dictionary

  4. Step 3 • Depending on the card either: • Characteristics- have students list characteristics of the word • Examples/Non examples-have the students list examples of the term or non examples which could be like opposites to the word • Visual or Illustration of the word
