  4. It is an invitation to deepen our understanding, to live and to pray …

  5. …. It is an opportunity to celebrate and renew our faith … individually …. …with our families ….

  6. …in our parishes … …and in our schools…

  7. … across our Country and across the world ….

  8. The Year of Faith Logo …. What does it symbolise?

  9. A Sun – symbolising the Eucharist A Boat - symbolising The Church Sails – Showing the 3 symbols of the trigram of Christ (IHS) Waves – symbolising the church afloat across many waters

  10. At our baptism, the baptismal candle was lit as a sign of our faith …. It is a challenge to keep our light of faith burning in our lives today…

  11. We can keep the light of faith burning by growing in our faith.

  12. We grow in our faith every day …. when we pray, when we learn about God,

  13. … when we show love to one another… … and when we care for those who are not as lucky as we are.

  15. PRAY: Make an extra effort to include prayer as part of your life every day ….

  16. LEARN: Strive to learn new things about your faith ….

  17. WITNESS: Try to be more like Jesus in your Dealings with others - show you care and be considerate

  18. SERVE: We can take care of those who are not as lucky as we are, just like Jesus did. This year raise awareness, fundraise and help others.
