  4. Food Chain • What a turtle eats: • Slugs • Grasshoppers • Earth worms • Wild lettuce • Mushrooms • Berries A turtle’s predators: Baby painted turtles have a variety of predators: • Raccoons • Foxes • Skunks • Crows • ravens

  5. Interesting Facts: • Turtles can’t get out of their shells. • Shells are 10 inches (25cm.) long. • They have a pointed tail with red stripes. • Turtles can pull their legs and head in and out.
