  2. The oldest and most important Christian holiday is Easter. • The week before Easter is called the Holy Week. • Friday before Easter is called Holy Friday.

  3. On Holy (Good) Friday people eat fish. • For breakfast on Easter Sunday people usually eat boiled eggs. • For Easter Sunday dinner people usually have beef, lamb and ham baked in bread.

  4. Eggs are an important part of Easter celebrations. • They are a symbol of new life. • Traditional Easter gifts are coloured eggs or chocolate eggs.

  5. In this Easter game children look for eggs. • The game is called an Easter egg hunt. • In this Easter game children roll eggs to see whose egg rolls farthest. • This game is called an Egg race.

  6. The last day of Easter celebrations is Easter Monday.
