Rational • Increasing demand for high strength C125 in deep water applications. • No API and ISO specifications for C125 • Only Method A test acceptance criteria in vendor’s product specification. No Method D acceptance criteria. NACE TM 0177 Method A (pH3.5, PH2S = 0.5 psi, 24C, and 85% SMYS applied stress)

  3. Proposal • Adopt similar testing approach of current API C110 program 2318A. • Select 5 pipes and MTRS from 3 manufacturers. • Select three arm displacements. • Test solutions: NACE B and D. • Test durations: 14 days for Solution B and 17 days for Solution D ?
