  2. Indian Post office Act • Sec 4 - Exclusive privilege of conveying letters reserved to Government • Sec 5 - Certain persons expressly forbidden to convey letters • Sec 6 - Exemption from liability for loss, misdelivery, delay or damage

Indian Post office Act • Sec 11 - Liability for payment of postage • Sec 12 – Recovery of postage & other sums due in respect of postal articles • Sec 13 – Customs duty paid by the PO to be recoverable as postage • Sec 14 – PO marks prima facie evidence of certain facts denoted • Sec 15 – Official mark to be evidence of amount of postage
