  4. VVOB ‘s work in Education Objective of the programme (2008-2013): The Improvement of the quality of Lower Secondary Education in North and Central Vietnam through an integrated support of the Active Teaching and Learning change processes

  5. VVOB ‘s work in Education • 3 programme components: Management, Teacher Training & Social Participation • Operational partners: DOETs, Teacher Training Institutes, Youth Union, Women’s Union and NIEM

  6. What do we wantto achieve with teachers? Enhanced competencies of pre- and in-service teacher trainers, and teachers, related to ATL: • Creativity • Flexibility • Critical thinking • Problem-solving capacities • Student centered and activating approach • Participatory approach • Openness to new approaches and technologies
