  3. THE IRI ROUTINE Quality ECD revolves around the IRI routine: • 3O minutes of pre radio activities • 30 minutes of radio program • 30 minutes of post radio guided activities. • 30 minutes of guided free play PLUS Extended activities after the program at home

  4. INTERACTIVE RADIO INSTRUCTION (IRI) IS AN Integration of formal curriculum and child development.

  5. Active: physical, social and cognitive development, using five senses

  6. Creative and culturally based

  7. Sensitization of communities and caregivers

  8. Modeling best practices: A combination of radio and Learning materials that have been carefully selected to reflect holistic ECD

  9. Ensuring physically active and mentally alert children ASANTE NA KWAHERIIII!
