CLIL Module at the PHT The forte of the module at the PHT is that one-third of course time is spent on subject methodology and held by the respective subject methodologist rather than the language specialist. The organisation may indeed be more straightforward within a smaller institution. PHT: Module • 3 ECTS • Obligatory for all students on Lower Secondary Course • 3 Strands: English, German, Maths • Courses on subject methodologies integrated into Module • Back-up on Moodle • No links to teaching practice

Learning Outcomes: Students are expected to have acquired • Knowledge about CLIL principles and theories and an overview of the application of the CLIL Approach in Europe • Knowledge about CLIL Methodologies • The Competence to apply CLIL Methodologies in Second Subject(s) and also to co-operate with colleagues from other subject areas • An awareness of available resources and the ability to work with new media in the CLIL classroom
