  4. Goals-Term Curriculum-I would really wish to achieve 5a in every subject by the end of the year. Long Term-Aiming to be the first one to get my doubles. Short Term-Read my book every week and keep up with all my activities. Extra activities-Try out for all the sports and at least perform at an Talent quest event.

  5. Literacy • My goals for literacy are: • To identify historical periods or cultural contexts of texts. • Identify language features in historical texts. • Understand meanings or ideas in historical texts. • Complete a book and a reading task every week.

  6. Maths • My Goals for Maths are: • Try and learn something new everyday. • Aiming to get 20 every time we have a speed test. • Participating in all the Maths sessions.

  7. Science • My goals: • I would want my projects to be of a high and good quality. • Don’t plagiarize of anything (like the internet, books etc.) • I would want all my projects to be finished by the due date instead of waiting for the last minute. • My last project was poverty. Everyone in our class had a topic. We all had a topic based on Sustainability and climate change. • We all had a lot of time but some people still didn’t complete there assignment. This time we have to choose another topic for term 2 and it will have to be about Electricity and magnetism.

  8. P.E • My goals are: • To try and learn a lot of skills when it comes to P.E and syndicate sports. • Always bring sport shoes and P.E gear. • Try out for all the sports . • Showing good leadership and sportsmanship. • Learn new skills every time. • Try my hardest in all the sports.

  9. Arts/ Futures My futures group was mask making. It was great fun when we all made our own mask out of chopped and used woods. We all had a turn to decorate and paint a huge board though its not quite finished yet. But after a few weeks in the mask making Mrs. Roberts came to the arts room to pick some people to do the lights for the cultural group performances. She chose Parampreet, Sefita,Rodney

  10. Technology

  11. ICT In ICT I’ve learnt how to make wiki spaces. I’ve also explored other websites . A part of our ICT was doing our science Fair Projects individually or in pairs.

  12. Enviro Ed. I am good at planting as I was in the Enviro group. I like to clean the estuary . I did a lot planting last year. Planting plants and trees are great for the environment. The Enviro group was fun as I planted in little black plant bags and now that we do planting only sometimes I enjoy it because I show other people how to plant too. I do planting at home and I sometimes have to pull weeds out

  13. Term Reflections I had a bit of struggle in some areas. I enjoyed some programmes et by my teacher Maths: I learnt a lot about fractions and ratios . I did some quiz cards and had fun. I also learnt about degrees and how to use a protractor. Literacy: I had some Literacy tasks to do and I had to read a book every week. Science: I didn’t do much on science I had to write more information and I had to use the computer for more information.
