  3. Using the designations of Print and Web to designate the medium of the resource. • No more underlining – titles that were formerly underlined will now be italicized. • No urls required for web resources • No name and location of library for databases. Highlighted changes

  4. Refers only to the medium of the resource • Web does not mean website. Web means not print! • Web will be used for • Electronic journals • Scholarly articles available on the Web • Articles available through a library database • Online journals • Ebooks • For other formats, please consult the MLA Handbook for Writer’s of Research Papers 7th ed. Using the designations of Print and Web to designate the medium of the resource.
