  7. Strategic Governance • setting the school's vision and aims; • establishing and maintaining the school’s ethos; • setting the school’s plans and policies;

  8. Strategic Governance • monitoring and evaluating school performance; • promoting self evaluation to sustain school improvement.

  9. Corporate Governance Working in partnership with the school leadership team to: • Manage school finances • Oversee curricular provision, including provision for pupils with special educational needs • Select and appoint staff • Manage employment issues

  10. Corporate Governance Working in partnership with the school leadership team to: • Ensure that all required safeguarding measures are in place • Oversee use and maintenance of school premises • Address parental concerns and complaints • Promote good relations between school and community
