EGSE Requirements • Connect to STARLight instrument via 100BaseT ethernet • Send commands to STARLight via net connection • Receive realtime and stored data via net connection • Display realtime or stored data using graphical and textual displays • Export stored data to flat files for post-processing

EGSE Description • Laptop PC • Custom Windows software written in Visual C++ • Data Management • Instrument Control • Data Display • Ethernet connection to Control Module for operation/calibration and data download. • Database for storing data • Data can be recorded to CD or ZIP or offloaded via the net after returning from the field.
