Critical ItemsPAD sheets are sent off • Laser diode: • QA program almost finished • CCD: • Radiation test finished (3 krad okay) • QA program at Lewicki successfully finished • ASICS: • Radiation test and life-time test successful • ATMEL tests: okay • MITEQ: • Prototype delivered and successfully tested • Amplifier not yet selected - delivery 2-3 months • MPAE: • Output filter for secondary voltages WBS CDR 2-3rd april 2003

  3. Key issues (1) ! WBS REQUIREMENTS ! • Thermal interface of WBO • 1K/hour (acc. ESA analysis: okay) • 2K over the baseplate (analysis by ESA shows a 6K difference) • wrapped in MLI • Temperature range: +5 - +150C WBS CDR 2-3rd april 2003

Key issues (2) • Out of band signals ? • IF input signal without any filtering • Mechanical interface of WBE • (no full baseplate contact - 1mm spacing to SVM) • design already established with MITEQ • no design change possible anymore (mail from and to HA on 25.03.03) • Thermal analysis verifies current design WBS CDR 2-3rd april 2003

  5. Key issues (3) • Shock vibration: • Critical for WBO-modules • Levels: TBD • ESD: • Increased level in IID-A ? • Radiated Emission: • Transponder band spec. (0dBmV/m) not compliant • CPPA: (no information!) • Delivery of Filter, power supplies, ADC ??? WBS CDR 2-3rd april 2003
