  4. Strenghts • Pigeons and Planes Strength:The Strengths of Pigeons and Planes is how easy it is to find the top news and you aren't overwhelmed with too many stories at once. There is a feature tab that allows you to see and the top stories read. There is not alot of clutter on the website and the articles are easy to se. Each article and get a quick summary of what they are about right from the start, helping you make the decisions on what articles interest you the most. Free downloads are recommended each week to viewers of new tracks that have been released, which helps artists build their audience. • Rolling Stone Strength: This site is well known in the music world and has been around for a long time. They started as a magazine and expanding to the web to keep up with the evolving world. Because the site is well know they make revenue from magazine sales they do not have an advertisements that are distracting you from the content available on Rolling Stone online.

  5. Weaknesses • Pigeons and Planes Weakness: On the website only a limited number of articles are able to be seen at a time. This causes the viewer to have to scroll more to find an article that they want to read. Since this website is smaller, it also has advertisements on the top of the screen and on the sides. This can be distracting, since most of the time they are moving images, however this is needed for the website to be up since visiting the site is free to all people and they do no have another source of income. • Rolling Stone Weakness:All the images are relatively small compared to Pigeons and Planes and only every couple of articles have an image on the home page. They are so many articles featured on the home pages that it is almost overwhelming to chose with one to read. This also means that they have a lot of information that they want to share with their viewers which is not entirely a bad thing.

  6. Opportunity • Pigeons and Planes Opportunity: Each article has a headline, big picture and a short blurb about the article, with read more link easily accessible. This is nice to look at nice there is a picture paired with each good information the reader would want to see before opening the article. This site also a has a whole tab for videos and audio, which is what music is all about in todays world. Users are able to upload their own posts that will be reviewed to put on the site. • Rolling Stone Opportunity: Since Rolling Stone does have so much information to offer, I think it could be organized and make it look less cluttered way. Creating more tabs or adding more drop downs from the tabs that are currently available would make it so viewers can find what they want easier. Also, I think it would be cool to have a tab in the menu where you could search the articles by the genre of music since Rolling Stone is for all different types of music, unlike Pigeons and Planes , which has a more focused genre.

  7. Threat • Pigeons and Planes Threat:This website is not as well known as Rolling Stone. On the actual site they need more links for viewers to "like" their page on Facebook and Follow on Twitter, this way the site is spread through word of mouth. Without this easily accessible they are potentially loosing people who might be interested in what this site has to offer. • Rolling Stone Threat: A threat for Rolling Stone is how the viewership age of the magazine has slowly been rising and since it started as a magazine and print magazines as an industry are declining it could be hard to stay in the high position that they are currently in, but I think even with magazines declines they are picking up online users everyday.

  8. Pigeons and Planes • Free music offered on the site for downloading or listening for anyone who visits the site. • Music videos are offered as well.

  9. Rolling Stone • Artist performances and music videos are available on the site.
