  2. Determining a Target Market • What customer group will we serve? (get this information from your teacher) • Examples: college students, honeymooners, families with small children, adults who’s kids are moved out of their house, retired adults, 1st time visitors, couples retreat, destination wedding, bachelors party, bachelorettes party, serious gamblers, business professionals, theatre/show enthusiasts, thrill ride seekers

Determining the Marketing Mix Target Market: List at least 7 characteristics of your target market given by your teacher. *Must include at least one example from each of the market segments: demographics, psychographics & behavioral characteristics Directions: With you partner, you will: 1. Identify your target market (and characteristics of their market segment). 2. Determine the Travel package (with the Marketing Mix) and put on your poster board. You need enough detail that someone could tell what you are talking about. 3. Present your information to the class. Resources: Use travel sites to find costs; Use Las Vegas visitor’s bureau to find out information about what’s in the city; use other sites as needed.
