  18. U R R A L A D W I A R T O E L F R FRWA A N S O S I O T A C I Schedule 4 Systems • About 500 systems between 9,999 and 500 population • About 1,000 systems under 500 population (automatic VSS waiver)

  19. U R R A L A D W I A R T O E L F R FRWA A N S O S I O T A C I What’s an IDSE?Initial Distribution System Evaluation • IDSEs are one time studies . . . intended to select newcompliance monitoring sites for Stage 2 that more accurately reflect sites representing High TTHM and HAA5 levels.

  20. U R R A L A D W I A R T O E L F R FRWA A N S O S I O T A C I IDSERequirementsStage 2 D/DBP Rule • You Must Submit IDSE to EPA • We’ll help you complete your IDSE today • You Must Conduct IDSE testing • You Must Submit Final IDSE Report to EPA • IDSE results NOT for compliance purposes • However, IDSE results are included with the DBP ranges as reported in your CCRs

  21. U R R A L A D W I A R T O E L F R FRWA A N S O S I O T A C I What you need for your IDSE… • Street Map of your Water System • Map showing Stage 1 DBP Compliance Monitoring Locations • Recent TTHMs & HAA5s Results

  22. U R R A L A D W I A R T O E L F R FRWA A N S O S I O T A C I All You Have to Do… • Complete the IDSE Standard Monitoring Plan, attach the IDSE Map & simply mail it to EPA
