A New Engineering School • A brand new engineering school modeled after Carnegie Mellon’s CIT. • First program: ECE (Electrical&ComputerEngineering) with 40+ faculty. • Goal: establish a research oriented school that will be world ranked in engineering. • Two buildings, one on SYSU East Campus and one in Shunde (30 min. driving). • At initial stage, graduate program only.
