  4. Sometimes we say e as in tease.

  5. We are here to tease you! So ha, ha, ha, on you!

  6. E and A aren’t very nice!

  7. But we don’t get mad, We don’t get sad, We get smarter!

  8. That idea is a secret weapon against teasers!

  9. Let’s practice the e sound of ea!

  25. Let’s work on both of those sounds. We won’t let E and A get us down.

  27. Rhymes with head: read dead

  28. Rhymes with thread: spread dread

  29. Rhymes with measure: pleasure treasure

  43. Squeaky wanted to travel. He would dream of far away places he had read about and had seen on T.V.

  48. He dreamed of going to sea and traveling to all these pleasant places.

  49. One day Squeaky went to the dock to find the steamer that would carry him across the sea.

  50. The Main Stream Steamer with its whistle squealing was ready to leave the dock.
