This assessment guides students on researching physical activity among young people in NZ. Tasks include gathering ideas, survey/questionnaire creation, reading research papers, note-taking, and report writing. Deadlines and expectations are outlined for final presentations.

Suggestions to get you going… Identify all your empty/weak areas in Task 1 and develop your own ideas in these. Gather ideas from other relevant people in the school eg students, peers, matrons (This is likely to require some sort of survey/questionnaire). Read available research on physical activity and young people in NZ. (There are links to some research papers on the wiki, there are other pieces of very useful information in your PE workbook.) Make notes on all of the above. Use these notes as evidence to write your report (you may like to follow the structure given in the handout)
Signpost deadline: Friday 27th June Expectation: All research completed and Task 1 notes available to view Final Presentations will be Thursday 3rd & Friday 4th July (Term 2 Week 9)
