  5. SALIENT FINDINGS

  6. In Rice – Scented Variety PS-4&5 had identified for Up land condition . Present area – 400 Acres • Non Scented Rice Cultivars : RM-1 had found good to replace MTU-7029 (Lightly susceptible to diseases) Present area -12000 Acres • Oilseeds – Pusa Mahak (JD-6) – Identified for more aphid tolerance .Present area – 600 Acres • Pulses – New Red Gram- Cultivars Malwiya Chamtkar had identified with highest yield ability under local agro climatic condition with avg. Yield – 34.8 q/ha. • Commercial Crops- Lemon Grass and Mentha were found to be suitable as perennial and catch crops under upland condition . • Vegetable Crops – Onion ALR, Potato K. Ashoka and Marigold were identified with best economic returns .

  7. TREATMENT

For seek soils – Use of Trichoderma @ 1.0 kg/Acre was good if used also as seed treatment • For Cole crop DBM control - Three spray of BT (Halt) @ 150 g/Acre was best • Use of Boron in Paddy, Wheat, Lentil, Potato, Onion and Tomato as foliar 0.02% was found significantly good . • Use of Sulpher in Wheat, Mustard, Lentil as well as Onion @ 8 kg/Acre had increased the yield up to 15 % .
