Every week in New Zealand, more than 4000 volunteers come to school for a 30 minute Christian Religious Education lesson. Between the ages 5 and 12 , lifelong values, beliefs and attitudes are formed. By age 13 , spiritual identity is largely set.

  11. The Churches in Upper Hutt through the Minister’s Association are dedicated to providing Bible In Schools with a sustainable resource of teachers and materials to impact the future of our city. Aims So that the children in our city get to know about God. To present a united churches approach to impact key people in our city. To ensure that a quality and sustainable programme is promoted.

  20. Volunteers need to • abide by the Code of Expectations • be of good standing in their church • have no criminal convictions relating to children or family. • undertake training provided by CEC
