DESCRIPTION

The WG4 team, led by Dave Dowell and John Power, is focused on identifying critical experimental tests necessary for advancing technical systems in beam research. Our mission includes determining existing and planned facilities to support various studies such as CSR modeling and cathode studies, with emphasis on high power operations. We are also analyzing non-intercepting diagnostics at high beam power and exploring pulse-stealing needs through SRF expertise. Contributions from everyone involved are appreciated as we compile machine parameters for comprehensive understanding and planning.
