  2. To get started … Look at your examination responses. • How many times do you mention NOPA in each essay? • Why is NOPA an important part of our ‘skills toolkit’? 5 Mins.

  3. Draw your own toolkit in your book. What essay writing / analysis ‘tools’ need to go in it to get top marks in ‘A’ and ‘B’ questions? THINK – PAIR – SHARE! 5 mins.

  4. Two Sources … One Person For both sources, give a detailed NOPA analysis. Nature = Type of Source Origin = Where / When / Who’s it from? Purpose = What is the source designed to do? Audience = Who is the source aimed at?

  5. Equation / Recipe Using no more than ten words, explain how you can integrate NOPA into essays to obtain maximum marks.
