  6. Vehicle Insurance • New car • dealer will give you new vehicle information statement (NVIS) • Choose insurance company ( TD Insurance , CAA , Canadian Direct Insurance, etc…) • Contact insurance company and provide NVIS • Get Pink Card from insurance company

  7. Vehicle Insurance • Used car • Buy vehicle from owner and get bill of sale • Choose insurance company ( TD Insurance , CAA , Canadian Direct Insurance, etc…) • Buy insurance and get pink card

  8. Registration • Must have Canadian driver license • New car – dealership will do for you • Used car – Go to registry agents • bring bill of sale, driver license, pink card • Pay registration fee ($84.45)

  9. Drive home
