3. 2010s music • After the fall of hip-hop late 2009, pop music became increasingly popular amongst kids of the decade, from 2015 onwards rap and grime sales and artists sky rocketed, alternative bands and rock music has also risen since the decade started.

6. Throughout the years, fashion in Britain have changed drastically. Every year, a new fashion trend comes around and dies out soon after. The fashion trends you usually see today are; yoga pants, tracksuits and puffy jackets. However, Britain has become diverse in both its culture and its fashion since the 2000s. A huge part of fashion is the skate culture, the grunge look that have been found to be aesthetically pleasing. Skate culture has taken over and become a staple of any town or city, especially Manchester and Liverpool.

7. Cosplay 2000 - Present

8. Cosplay is for everyone and it doesn’t have to be from an anime. It could be from a film or a game or even your own character to show off to the world. Cosplay has gained much attraction from social media, and there are even special events for cosplayers and people who appreciate anime and the Japanese culture. These special events are called Cons. The most popular one is called Comic- Con and Marvel and DC even make their appetences there with special guests and lots of stalls. Cosplay has become a huge topic lately. The whole Japanese movement with Harajuku and Mode fashion and the rise in the popularity of Anime has greatly impacted the western world in recent years and now you see a lot of artists and people coming out and finding themselves and creating careers out of simply creating a costume and loving a character.

9. LGBTQ+ 2000 - Present

10. Currently trump is trying to get transgender banned from having rights and it will technically be illegal to be yourself. As they have only just got their rights in 2016, it is a huge setback for the whole community. There are already huge uproars happening and there are huge crowds rallying in the streets. The votes for this decision will be cast later on this week however, it seems to have a lot of voters for this already. It is unclear what will happen to the people in America who are transgender and there are rumors around them being made to revert to fit into Trumps standards.
