  3. Guiding Questions • What do insects need to survive? • What are the structures and behaviors of different types of insects? • How do insects change as they grow?

  4. Engaging Scenario • “Scientists at the Jack O’ Connor Education Center are making an exhibit about insects for visitors. They would like for you to help by finding out some information about different insects. • They have sent us some materials and printed information that may help us. They also need us to keep accurate records and labeled drawings in our science notebooks so we can send them a report about what we find out in a couple of months.” What do we need to investigate?What is the problem that needs to be solved?
