  3. Solar Panels provide energy at the lodge. All food is grown locally on the “shamba”. Fresh fruit, vegetables, beans are used to cook the meals.

  4. Open vehicles can be hired to go on safari….. ….but the roads are very dry and dusty.

Constructed on sustainable principles it offers and oasis of peace in a natural forest complete with a swimming pool! Solar energy provides all the power. The elevated 'tents' are spacious, comfortable and en suite. The wrap around windows are mosquito protected and you feel as if you are at one with the animals, birds and plants round about. While 2 Bantu guards protect you with bows and arrows during the night, you fall asleep to the sounds of monkeys and bush babies crying, along with the cicadas song and the odd trumpeting from an elephant. Meals of local produce are served in a variety of clearings, followed by a siesta in a hammock. Bliss.”
