HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED? • What if Zoe and Elmo fell in love, got married and had a baby? • What would their baby look like? • Why do children look like their parents? • Why do children have some traits of each parent? • What exactly do parents pass to their children? • How do parents pass traits to their children?

  3. YOU AS THE APPRENTICE • Now that you have learned about genetics, you will get to apply all the concepts as apprentices to Geneticist- Cote

  4. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO…. • Observe Genetic Characteristics of our Sesame characters • Complete Going to the Chapel ( Sesame Street Couples) worksheet • Complete Sesame Street Punnett Squares • Draw Family Pedigree. • Draw family portraits. Write an introduction.

  5. YOU WILL … • Work in Groups of two • Be assigned a sesame couple • Complete Worksheets together • Be asked to evaluate your performance individually and as a group
