The Tag Project is a innovative utility aimed at improving file organization on personal computers through user-defined metadata known as "tags." This system allows users to seamlessly add tags to files, facilitating easier locating and management of their documents. The project includes a File Monitor that tracks file operations such as delete, move, and rename, updating the database accordingly. Additionally, the Tag Browser serves as the primary application for browsing tagged files via a user-friendly interface, supporting both tag selection and Boolean searches for effortless file retrieval.
