Indiana School Safety Specialist Academy • Indiana Code 5-2-10.1-9 mandates that every school corporation must have a certified School Safety Specialist • School Safety Specialist coordinates the safety plans of each school, and acts as a resource for the school with regards to school discipline, safety, and security

Indiana School Safety Specialist Academy • Indiana Code 5-2-10.1-11 mandates the existence of the School Safety Specialist Academy as a training program • Initial certification requires five days of Basic Training • Two days of Advanced Training required each year to maintain certification • www.doe.in.gov/safety Free!
